On behalf of the University of Northern Iowa, we’d like to make you aware of an upcoming learning opportunity The Heartland Economic Development Course, accredited by the IEDC for the five state region of Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. It will be taking place in the Kansas City metro area, specifically Blue Springs, MO, on April 18-22. This course offers five days of intensive training in the basic concepts, information, methods, and strategies of local economic development. The course is currently accepting registrants, and scholarship opportunities are available through utility providers and state economic development associations.
