Waxahatcie, TX was the site of the former super-collider project headed up by the U.S. Department of Energy. When federal funding was withdrawn, the 200,000 square foot facility became available. Whittaker Associates worked with the owner and his agent to identify prospects for this property. Due to the nature of the facility, it was determined that the best re-use for the building would be for data center or colocation services. We then provided our client with a database of 175 firms requiring those capabilities.
